Harmal seeds have long been used in Middle Eastern and North African folk medicine for a wide range of purposes, from treating fevers to managing arthritis. They’re often made into a tea which, even at low doses, can have stimulant and hallucinogenic effects, and at excessive doses may be toxic. Their potential for medicinal uses has attracted attention among some in the scientific community.

Harmal seeds are obtained from the harmal plant from which it takes its name. The plant, which attracts attention with its seeded fruits, has been valued as a traditional / herbal treatment for many years. So much so that it is said to be frequently encountered even in medical books from the 15th century The seeds obtained from the plant, which loves warm climates, are generally consumed in the form of tea. The history of the plant and its seed, which dates back to ancient centuries, arouses curiosity about its effects on the body.

TO USE: To prepare the harmal seed tea, just do the following: Transfer 2 cups of water to a small saucepan or a large coffee pot, add 2 teaspoons of blackthorn seeds and bring to a boil. After boiling for about 5-6 minutes, turn off the heat, strain and separate the seeds inside and drink after warming. Our Harmal Seeds are vegan, vegetarian.
